hi, my current project is designing a place of learning. from this i am looking to design a space which gives sensitivity of traditional buildings which is not found in modern architecture. traditional and sophisticated modernity. a place of learning where tradition is as well important in creating the modern space for the learning environment. i was looking at the architect Carlo Scarpa which was interesting in developing. has anyone got any ideas in helping me develope my concept-design further/? also any examples would be great! thanks alot

a space might be provided where the elderly and the youth can meet. when they come within a place, they surely would learn from each other.

The establishment of school was inevitable because they are part of the desire of the man.
u can also see the projects of architect Doshi--"Sangath" means moving together through perticipation.

i think in a learning place, its important to communicate with each other. communication between students, as well as with teachers. and how it control. tradition is more related with culture. user group is also important , we learn in defferent way in defferent time period of our life. you may see the rudropur school by "anna heringer" in bangladesh. which win the AGA KHAN AWARD for architecture 2007. she work with tradition, sustainability and child psychology.
