Once of my most favorite books: 'Making Architecture The Getty Center'
by
Richard Meier
Ada Louise Hustable
Stephen D. Routree
Harold M. Williams
published from : Thames and Hudson

It's about making the Getty Center by Richard Meier. This book is my favorite because it talks about the entire history of a project... from getting commission, doing conceptual sketches, changing the program according to the client.... designing, detail construction... everything of a project in a single cover.
( hopefully ArchSociety is going to publish a digital copy of this book very soon)

le corbusier, an analysis of form
geoffrey h. baker
third edition
published from: van nostrand reinhold
this book is a kind of visual dictionary of corbues work, i like this book very much. i think this will help to understand how le corbusier worked and what principles he used.
another good book on le corbusier is "the poetics machine and metaphor" published by thames & hudson
