Be a part of the first thesis jury of a school: NSU Architecture Week 2009

North South University Architecgure Week 2009, Dhaka, BangladeshThe fist jury of the graduating students is undoubtedly a grand event for any new architecture school. And this time the North South University is going to add some fresh new architects in the community after the first thesis jury of the school. They are also arranging a grand Architecture Week during the event comprises design charette, lectures, exhibition and drama theatre. School's Assistant Professor Mujtaba Ahsan sent us a press release that explains the details of the events:

"The thesis jury of the first batch of architecture students from the North South University, Department of Architecture will be held on the 17th and 18th of October 2009 starting from 10:30 am. On this occassion, the department is also celebrating Architecture Week 2009. Important events include: Visit and Lecture by renowned Malaysian Architect Dr. Tan Loke Mun, Past President of the Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM), Member GBIAP and Director ArchiCentre Sdn. Bhd. A student design competition (Charette) will be held on Monday, October 19th, registration beginning from 9:30 am and a Heritage Tour of Old Dhaka would be held on the same day. The concluding ceremony would be held on Thursday 22nd October at 5:00 pm, featuring a cultural program and an open stage drama - CIRCUS by PrachchaNat. The department would also host a students' project exhibition showcasing notable last semester design studio projects. The exhibiton will remain open for everyone from the 17th to the 22nd from 10 am  to 4 pm."
