design better apartment

 But making a facade intensionally (so-called) 'beautiful' without any functional reflex is a sin.
And most of the time apartment designers specially who are working with developers are doing this.
If we really become serious about every detail aspects of design, if things go proportionate and functional then the facade will automatically achieve a smart beautiful look.

Although, I have no experience about the reality in ground work. I did nothing but designing an apartment complex in our design studio with Architect Bashirul Haq as our teacher.
I promise too remain strict about all the 'architectural philosophical ethics' I promise for not to compromise with quality in any situation... God knows better what will happen when I'll start designing apartments in reality.

 neo, kocchop, & rahul....thanks . i think another problem is construction. in apartment we have to face some limitation in construction. so we have less posibility to work with section. otherwise cost will increased.

we are talking only about elevations. but what about space quality...and function. almost every apartment follow the same plannig principals. can't we habe any alternative???,, as this is a residential building , i thnik we should work for "better internal space " rather than elevation treatment.

 tariq... i really dont think that construction is a problem for the designers

in fact our markets have the almost latest materials
communication with the international market
is good enough
practising architects are also applying
their intelligences

even very local materials and construction techniques can give you the best result....
why dont you think of our remarkable
NATIONAL ASSEMBLY COMPLEX !!!!

 construction is not a problem if u have enough money cocchop. but most of apartment is build by developer. they even do not bother about architect if they can get it from civil engineer/ diploma at a low price. we have to do some thing which will also be economicaly comfortable. day by day.....matarial cost is increasing...that another prob. we may have to think about defferent material and construction system

 SUPPOSE ONE IS BUILDING A 2 STORY BUILDING
THE DESIGN IS MADE BY AN ARCHITECT OR
A CIVIL ENGINEER OR ONE HIMSELF OR .......NOBODY!

STILL ONE HAVE TO BUILD IT
SO IT IS CONSTRUCTED
NO MATTER WHO DESIGNS IT
...........IT WILL BE CONSTRUCTED

SO THE CONSTRUCTION COST IS
...............MORE OR LESS THE SAME

NOWADAYS PEOPLE ARE BEING AWARE OF THE LIVING
AND ARCHITECTS HAVE THE TOPMOST RESPONSIBILITY
ON THAT ISSUE

i pretty much appriciate your concern

we might think about different materials
and construction systems
but how can anybody guarantee that the cost wont increase this time

 a trend going on.......beautiful flat means.....bigger room, nice curtain, beautiful furniture {like jomidar's} beautiful tiles.... even at outdoor. i see whole facade is covered with tiles. may be it's costly....but is it nice architecture???
no body concern about space quality. only decorated the spaces. is it all...
....an architect's dream!!!!

we are very fortunate to have
architects like MAZHARUL ISLAM
whenever you are depressed or frustrated......
just see HIS projects
