Most of the architects whom you know the names are basically freelancers.
Freelancing means working in own studio in own office. When clients will come with commissions directly to you.

thats the wrong conception of freelancing..... actually a freelancer is a self-employed person, the one who is not like just say "officially registered"... thats why i asked hw an architect could be a feelancer... yeh he can if he has a kind of dealing with other registered professional..

But even the registration is not the factor every time. Someone can do architecture without having any B.Arch degree or Diploma or registration from any institution.

but it ain't the case here.... a registered architect only can practise..... even all the partners in a frim should be reg architects, u can't est a firm teaming with a contractor or anyother un-reg person..
