Drafting Pen: If your drafting pen doesn't work it may be for freez of the ink into the pen. if u jurk the pen u may not here any sound. So u have to take out the top part of the pen. leave tha ink tube. Take a bottle or mug or cup with full of water. Then drop the top of the pen into the water and leave it for 6-10 hours untll u here the jurking sound. it may be take 24 hourse. When u hear the sound of jurking that means your pen is working. | ||

Thanks for the tips. To avoid all these hazards I prefer felt-pens for drafting. They are very handy and sophisticated as well Although mechanical pens are outstanding for drawing thin lines, felt can't draw thinner than 0.3 mm. 0.1mm mechanical pens are very hazardous. They often create trouble if not maintained properly. Even special measures is necessary while drafting also. 0.1 pens requires to hold the pen perpendicularly from the table otherwise the nozzle gets damaged. For all these... I love thick pencils and water color or thick markers... even in final presentation in free-hand as well as in scale. |

Hi, drafting pen is very important element for drafting. If u draft it manually. It creates trouble for two reasons: The first one is if u dont use it in straight possition. During our normal writhing (with normal writhing pen) we place the pen diagonal. But drafting pen needs that to keep it straight. The second one is if u don't use it for a long time. That time we can take steps according to himel's instruction. |
