well..Mine is an institutional library...its a proposed site @ jaipur and the institutional block has been already built...i need to design my library as a module in connection to it...without disturbing the landscape features of the site...longin' for ideas 2 work better...thnx!!

ok!! here are some tips which might be of help! the transition between the formal and semi-formal spaces is increasingly fading away! people are more attracted towards semi-formal and casual spaces like lounges, courts etc... reading room could be the conventional one or more preferably the type were it could spillover some court or somethng, so that if one wants to read in the open he should be able to without actually getting out of the library! barrier free and old people friendly.. some computers dedicated to handicapped people, toilets, ramps for them and thngs like that.. thats about it for now, will add to it soon......
