My topic is IIM, shillong. I am looking for international case studies on management institutes. Also my site is a contoured one. I am looking for more information on the study of contours in site planning and design development. Please do suggest books and websites for the same.

The moment you mention Institute of Management people think of the great example by Louis Kahn in India the IIM Ahmedabad! I'm sure you have already gone through that design.
If you have not then I may post some photos/drawings of that work.
Right now I can't remember any other exact example of 'Institute of Management' specifically. If anything comes into mind I'll post it.

By the way, is there any special significance or direct change in architecture in designing an Institute of Management? Say for example is an Institute of Management is very different from an Institute of Public Administration or Mass Communication or Language?
Do you know any point by which an Institute of Management becomes significantly different than other? If not they you actually may look into any institute, isn't it?

I have been to the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. And I am planning to do a case study on the same. if you could share any information at hand, it would be very helpful.
Yes i believe an institute of management is different in respect to the type of professionals it caters and their essence of work. These people in professional life, head almost every other department. Hence the leadership qualities should be reflected throughout there education. Any other suggestion at a different angle is welcome too!
