Case study on vernacular housing forms of any place within India.

The study needs to focus on the evolution of plans, placement, ventilation, drainage, water conservation etc based on the climatic conditions, topography of the place. The idea is to gather all the information online, because a visit to the place is not possible. Presentation format is ppt.

If anyone has attempted any such excersise before, any information that would be helpful would be welcome! Also any suggestions regarding the place that can be chosen.

I was thinking of two options, Meghalaya or Rajasthan?
Which one would be more suited and helpful?

There's a climatic chart of tropical climate in the Downloads section. Look inside the 'Archsociety Publication', there you'll get it.
That chart may also come for any help in this regard.

Yeah, we might be allowed to do a place outside India as well. If allowed I might go ahead with Algeria.
