architecture week is going on aiub, so everyone should try to participate
there are lectures, film shows, everyday from 4:30-7pm
tomorrow there is a film show on getty center & a lecture by prof. imamuddin

Hmm it's a really good venture by them. Thanks to AIUB for arranging such a good series of events.
By the way the first lecture by Prof. Shamsul Wares was amazing to me. It changed my vision towards the manifestation of modernism entirely. Before this lecture my vision towards modernism was merely from a political point of view. Shamsul Wares proved that day that it's not just a matter of politics and economy, modernity is far vaster concept than I digested before.
This sentence was the core essence of the entire lecture:
"Changes are modern, this change follows a linear progression with time frame it has no turning back, thus modernism comprises all the changes together"

Hey is there anyone who attended todays presentation by VISTAARA Architects? Heard that Prof. Shamsul Wares blew them away in public?
