In the home page Currently we can see last 10 posts. It would be better if, we could see at-least 20 last new posts. |

"List all new posts" Is a good option But what I was saying is in the homepage there is always Last 10 posts are displayed if it would be Last 20 posts then more posts would be visible and one would easyly get the opertunity to post/view more posts without going to the forum page. |

20 posts in homepage will look very odd. It makes the page too long to scroll. And the most important thing is I want people to visit the main forum page regularly. It tickles new thread ideas to post in different forums. That's why i think we shouldn't go for 20 posts in homepage. |

but you're not realizing that many posts which might have the possibility to be replied goes to a so called "safe house" and remains hidden to many users. you're just minimising the possibility for certain posts. it was my realization. it's up to you what should be... |

well if there are 20 post, the news gets out of focus. but i agree the issue of not geting enough reply to the most important threads. specially the design related threads get no reply. why man? that would be the most important purpose of this community. buy the way there are few indictors in the forum too. which shows you which are the forums has got new thread or reply so just to visit to only those forums. thus we can keep a good track of the new threads. so its better to giv a visit to the forums index page. and look for the lights of new reply. |

Aliza's opinion is good. And you know it was like that previously. I don't know have you seen the previous version of archsociety or not, it was like that. The Design related forums were at the top of the forum main page. But people are so lazy to post in design related topics.... I moved the informal forums at the top, so that people at least gain the habit of posting firstly. If you people think that the design related should be at the top ( what i think too ) then I’ll move them to the top again. But this for the forum main page. It is not possible yet to keep design related posts at the top selectively in the home page's latest forum threads section. In that section latest post will be sorted wherever it has been posted with any subject. |
