Uh SoA program

tnahinu here,

The UH Manoa school of architecture used to have a bachelors and masters degree program but it was swapped for a Doctoral Program (which i am currently enrolled in). The doctorate program is 7 years long and requires about 212 credits, and one of those 7 years requires you to go away (work at 2 different firms for a semester) to a practicum where we gain actual experience in the architectural field. However, since we are looking for a new Dean of Architecture, this program might change. We may still have the Doctoral program or we may be bringing back a bachleors program, or . . . who knows, but we're doing a Dean search for our school of arhcitecture.

7 years is a very long time...

How you people can remain outside of practicing architecture professionally this long time after your bachelor degree?

Hey Nahinu, do you know Mujtaba Ahsan? (click on his name to see the profile) He was also in your University. He was also doing Doctoral course in your school (as far as i know).
Once Mujtaba Ahsan was my teacher in the first year of my b.arch.
