about course of B.arch in Nepal

 We study architecture for 5 years. Each year with 2 semesters.In each semester we do 2 design projects beside other subjects. In first years we do basic design, workshop which includes pottery, art, apart we learn building construction, structural part, history of architecture, design projects differ as per teacher but according o syllabus. We did from 2nd semester are bus stand design, banglowdesign, school, library, housing, commercial complex, neighbourhood design, conservation . We also learn history of architecture as western and eastern. Eastern includes indian, japanese, chinese, combodian etc. while in western we learn all history including Egyptain to post modern. We learn eastimating in 3rd year, carpentary in 2nd year. In Nepa there are only 3 uiversities having architecture course. Their course are some what similar.

 It seems the course of architecture is somewhat almost same everywhere. You may compare ours in the two sticky threads in this forum describing our entire syllabus in detail posted by mrs. Ahsan.
In Bangladesh now there are 8 universities offering b.arch. course. Although just before 4/5 years the number was 4 only. Here is the list of first four Universities started architecture department in Bangladesh:
1. Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET)
2. Khulna University (K.U)
3. Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST)
4. The University of Asia Pacific (UAP)
The syllabus published by mrs. ahsan in that post is of the 4th university UAP.

 I really have no idea about this showdown and been looking for them since i have read on college-paper.org blogs about it. Coming to the arts this is what i would love to spend my free time with paintings.
